Infographics and cutaway diagrams
PromptsPrompt
Check numbers, labels and structural accuracy before sharing either image. A convincing picture can still contain errors.
Editorial infographic
Use a chat tool with image generation. Fill in [TOPIC], [AUDIENCE] and [LANGUAGE]. Supply sources when the chat cannot browse. The prompt shows a text plan with labels and sources before it creates the image.
Length: 1,253 characters. Copy the complete block using its copy button.
Create an educational infographic about [TOPIC] for [AUDIENCE], in [LANGUAGE]. If the topic is missing, ask one question and wait.
1. Establish the facts from the supplied sources. If browsing is available, use suitable primary sources and identify them with links in the chat reply. If browsing and sources are both unavailable, ask for sources before presenting factual research as verified.
2. Select 4–6 central ideas and one accurate relationship connecting them. Provide the proposed labels and source references in a short text plan. Use data only when the values and units are supported; a conceptual diagram is fine when there is no dataset.
3. Generate a portrait 4:5 infographic where supported: clear grid, readable short labels, restrained palette, generous whitespace and one explanatory diagram. Preserve the approved facts, units and terminology. No invented statistics or decorative pseudo-data.
4. Inspect the generated image if you can. Check spelling, values, units, arrows and legibility against the plan. Correct material errors if editing is available; otherwise list them. If you cannot inspect the image, say so and provide the label list for human checking. Do not claim exact rendering merely because the prompt requested it.
Educational cutaway
Attach the photograph and, if you have one, a technical reference for the inside of the object. A photo of the outside does not show what is inside. Without a reference, the prompt asks you to supply one or to accept a conceptual illustration that is labelled as unverified.
Length: 1,054 characters. Copy the complete block using its copy button.
Create a labeled cutaway of [OBJECT] using the attached photo and [TECHNICAL_REFERENCE_OR_NONE], in [LANGUAGE].
A photograph of the exterior does not establish hidden components. If there is no suitable internal reference, ask whether I want to provide one or receive a clearly labeled conceptual illustration. Do not present a plausible invented interior as the actual object's anatomy or construction.
For an evidence-based cutaway, preserve the exterior features and show only internal parts supported by the supplied technical reference. For a conceptual illustration, label it “Conceptual illustration: internal layout not verified.”
Use a white background, a clear cross-section, 5–8 readable callouts where appropriate, thin leader lines and a 4:3 layout where supported. Include a separate text list of labels and the reference supporting each factual part. Inspect labels and connections when image viewing is available; report any unverified details. Distinguish this teaching illustration from an engineering drawing or service instruction.
Check it
Give the cutaway prompt only a photo of a sealed device. It should ask for an internal reference or offer the conceptual mode. It should not quietly invent the inside.
